Launchpad Missional Anchors
Launchpad trains within the rhythms of real city life, and it does so grounded in four missional anchors. These anchors shape not only what we teach, but how we live and serve. The GOSPEL is for every person and all peoples. It’s the foundation of all mission. The URBAN context brings complexity and opportunity, inviting us into the spaces where the need is great and the Church is being reshaped. Engaging CULTURES requires language and love, calling us to listen humbly and serve relationally. And in all of this, we work in and through missional churches and church plants, partnering locally to live out God’s story of SENDING, both near and far.
GOSPEL every & all: Revelation 7:9-10, “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’”
URBAN complexity & opportunity: Acts 17:16-17, “Now while Paul was waiting for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him as he saw that the city was full of idols. So he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and the devout persons, and in the marketplace every day with those who happened to be there.”
CULTURES language & love: 1 Corinthians 9:19, 23, “For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them. …I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings.”
SENDING near & far: Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Why Launchpad?
Many mission trainings emphasize either knowledge (what people know) or methods (what people do). Launchpad was designed to bridge that gap—equipping participants with:
Head – Strong biblical and strategic understanding
Heart – Character, calling, and Spirit-led dependence
Hands – Practical skills applied in real-time
Grounded in the Biblical missionary framework, Launchpad is a tool for developing long-term fruitfulness through rhythm, reflection, and active participation.
Launchpad participants are not “mission experts.” They’re ordinary believers who are willing to grow, stretch, and step out in faith. They include:
Urban disciples learning to live sent
Church members preparing for local or global mission
Young leaders exploring a call to ministry or church planting
Faithful saints who want to multiply their lives into others
What you need to bring with you: a willing heart and a teachable spirit. That’s enough to begin.
What Sets Launchpad Apart?
Gospel-Centered – Formed by the gospel in every aspect of life and mission
Embodied Learning – Mission isn’t just talked about, it’s practiced
Urban-Focused – Tailored for life in diverse, post-Christian cities
Team-Based – Learning happens through shared experience
Church-Connected – Grounded in and sent by local churches
Spirit-Led – Dependent on prayer, discernment, and God’s leading
Let’s go. Let’s grow. Let’s launch.
A Pathway for Mission-Ready Disciples
You are stepping into something strategic. Cities are becoming more more diverse, more complex, and more spiritually hungry, and there is a growing need for disciples who not only believe but know how to live sent. Launchpad Training exists to help ordinary believers become cross-cultural witnesses, disciple-makers, church planters, and gospel catalysts right where they are.
